3 Proven Strategies for Writing Google Adwords Ads That Get Results

There are actually a number of factors that determine whether or not an Adwords campaign will be successful, and of course the ad copy is just one of them. If you want to experience better results with your Google Adwords campaigns, then please read this article to find out about three copy tips that you may not know about.

If you’re not familiar with split testing, then you need to know that doing it will determine your success, or lack of it. Your campaign’s success depends on how effectively you can test and make any necessary changes that will fetch you a better ROI.

You can always keep right on testing even if you have very good existing conversion rates.

You can also use the display URL to your advantage in several clever ways. Look for yourself, and you will quickly notice that some display URL’s are not being used properly. Lots of marketers, or PPC advertisers, have proven that the display URL comes into play with click through rates. As an AdWords advertiser, you should know that you can put almost anything you want in your display URL, given that the destination URL matches with the domain. This is an old, but still effective, trick; and what you’ll do is make the file extension the keywords you want to use.

You can be creative with your ads, but just remember there’s not much space, and you do need to provide benefits with little hype. One thing to do is split test between a regular ad and one that contains some allusion to a story or experience. There may not be enough room for using story elements; so just be sure to let them know how much they can also benefit from the product, as well.

Your best approach is to always test anything new, and so that is our recommendation for the ad copy tips you just learned here. You can realize spectacular results if you continue to make yourself smarter about writing effective ad copy.

Niche Software News

As of October 4, 2012 Fabian Lim (Keyword Research Pro) has reported that the finishing touches are being added to the new version 2.0, hopefully ready for release within days.
This new version will include a Local Keyword Effectiveness Index that will help identify suitable and effective keywords to target for local markets, and the ability to import a (CSV) list of keywords to generate Google Volume and/or Google Competition. The keyword import feature is not as trivial as it sounds, since many people acquire keyword lists from sources other than the Google Keyword Tool.
Keyword Research Pro 2.0 will operate on PCs and Macs.
